In these regulations, "business establishment" means any food establishment, drinking establishment, store, theatre, dance hall, factory or auditorium, and includes any place of business where the public gathers. R-024-2009,s.2.
No licence shall be issued in respect of a business establishment to an applicant for a business licence under the Business Licence Act unless the application for the licence is accompanied by a certificate of the Fire Marshal or a local assistant appointed under the Fire Prevention Act that fire safety precautions in respect of the business establishment are satisfactory. R-024-2009,s.3.
