The Commissioner, on the recommendation of the Minister, under subsection 50(3) of the Expropriation Act, R.S.N.W.T. 1988, c. E-11 and every enabling power, makes the Expropriation Forms Regulations.
The prescribed form of the warrant referred to in subsection 50(1) of the Expropriation Act is set out in Form 1 of the Schedule.

FORM 1 (Section 1)
IN THE MATTER OF the Expropriation Act, R.S.N.W.T. 1988, c. E-11;
AND IN THE MATTER OF

TO: THE SHERIFF OF the .................................................................................. Whereas ..............................................., an expropriating authority or a person acting for it, has been prevented from entering on or taking physical possession of or making use of land to the extent of an interest expropriated under the Expropriation Act in respect of the land described as follows:

And whereas the proof required by section 50 of the Expropriation Act has been made before me; This is to command you in Her Majesty's Name, without delay, to put the expropriating authority, or a person authorized to act for it, in physical possession of the land to the extent of the interest expropriated in the land and make return of this warrant to the Supreme Court of the Northwest Territories, stating the manner in which it was executed.
