(pièces pyrotechniques)

2.

3.

(1) A person who wishes to sell, offer for sale, give, purchase, possess, store or set off fireworks shall apply to the Fire Marshal for written authorization.

(a) the number and type of fireworks in respect of which the application is made; and

(b) in the case of an application to set off fireworks, the time and place of the proposed display.

(3) Where an application is made under subsection (1), the Fire Marshal may request other relevant information and the applicant shall provide the requested information in writing.

(4) Where an application is made under subsection

(1) and the Fire Marshal is of the opinion that the proposed sale, offer for sale, gift, purchase, possession, storage or display would not endanger public safety, the Fire Marshal may

(a) in writing, authorize the applicant to sell, offer for sale, give, purchase, possess, store or set off the fireworks described in the application; or

(b) instruct the Deputy Fire Marshal, Assistant Fire Marshal or the local assistant for the municipality in which the fireworks are to be sold, offered for sale, given, purchased, possessed or stored or in which the display of fireworks is to be conducted to give the written authorization.

(5) The Fire Marshal, Deputy Fire Marshal, Assistant Fire Marshal or a local assistant may attach conditions to an authorization given under subsection (4).

4.
