These regulations apply to a guarantee or indemnity made by or on behalf of the Government that is authorized by an enactment other than the Financial Administration Act.
(1) A guarantee or indemnity may be made by the Commissioner or the Minister of Finance on behalf of the Commissioner.
(2) Subsection (1) does not apply to a guarantee or indemnity authorized by an enactment in which the enactment authorizes a specific person to make the guarantee or indemnity.
A guarantee or indemnity made by the Commissioner or Minister of Finance under section 2 may be executed by the Commissioner or the Minister of Finance.
(1) A guarantee or indemnity may be made provided such guarantee or indemnity has been recommended by the Board.
(2) Subsection (1) does not apply to an indemnity authorized by an Act in which the maximum liability under the indemnity is specified in the Act. R-073-2013,s.2.
