This is an unofficial reading copy parsed from the Department of Justice consolidation PDF above — itself an office consolidation, not an official statement of the law. The authoritative text is in the Revised Statutes of the Northwest Territories, 1988 and the annual Statutes volumes.
The Commissioner, on the recommendation of the Public Records Committee, under subsection 11(1) of the Archives Act and every enabling power, makes the Publications Regulations.
In these regulations, "publication" means any public record produced, printed or released for general or limited public distribution by a government body, but does not include a public record of a confidential nature or a public record produced solely for use by a government body.
A government body shall, within seven days of producing, printing or releasing a publication,
(a) provide four copies of the publication to the library of the Legislative Assembly; and
(b) provide one copy of the publication to the Archivist.
