The Commissioner, on the recommendation of the Minister, under subsection 173(1) of the Wildlife Act and every enabling power, makes the Wildlife Fees Regulations.
In these regulations, "Aboriginal harvester", "GHL", "NR", "NRA", "RES", and "SHL" have the meaning assigned to those terms in the Big Game Hunting Regulations. R-099-2018,s.2.
Fees payable for authorizations, licences, permits and, where applicable, tags for the harvesting of big game, are set out in the Schedule.
Tags for big game may be obtained from a vendor by paying the fee set out in the Schedule.
A person who loses a licence or permit or part of a licence or permit issued under the Licences and Permits Regulations may apply for a replacement by
(a) completing an application in the form approved by the Superintendent; and
(b) paying
(i) the fee set out in the Schedule for the replacement of a permit or licence, and
(ii) if applicable, the fee set out in the Schedule for the purchase of a tag or authorization.
Notwithstanding sections 2, 3 and 4, during the period of July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021, the Superintendent may waive the fee payable for any item listed in the Schedule. R-103-2020,s.2.
These regulations come into force on the day on which the Wildlife Act, S.N.W.T. 2013, c.30, comes into force.
