Public Printing Regulations

Official gazette

1.

The Commissioner may authorize the publication of an official gazette called the Northwest Territories Gazette. S.N.W.T. 1998,c.5,s.28(2).

Contents of Northwest Territories Gazette

There shall be published in the Northwest Territories Gazette all regulations, proclamations and official and other notices as are required to be published in the Northwest Territories Gazette by law or by the Commissioner.

Territorial Printer

3.

(1) A person in the public service shall be appointed by the Commissioner as Territorial Printer.

Duties of Territorial Printer

(2) The Territorial Printer shall perform the printing and publishing functions for the Government of the Northwest Territories that are assigned to the Territorial Printer by law or by the Commissioner.

Powers of

4.

The Commissioner may

(a) require regulations, proclamations and official and other notices to be published in the Northwest Territories Gazette; and

(b) assign printing and publishing functions for the Government of the Northwest Territories to the Territorial Printer.

Editor and Deputy Editor

5.

The Minister of Justice may appoint an Editor and Deputy Editor of the Northwest Territories Gazette. 1993,c.12,s.2.

Regulations

6.

The Commissioner, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, may make regulations

(a) respecting the powers and duties of the Editor and Deputy Editor of the Northwest Territories Gazette;

(b) prescribing the content of each part of the Northwest Territories Gazette and the frequency of publication of each part; and

(c) respecting fees to be charged for the publication, printing and distribution of publications prepared by the Territorial Printer. S.N.W.T. 1998,c.5,s.28(3).
